Kongskilde is renowned for its pneumatic grain conveyors, manufacturing them in Denmark since 1949. The KDC PLUS is another Kongskilde manufactured product that has earned an excellent reputation. The principal of cleaning varies from standard rotary drum cleaners, first the large impurities are removed, leaveing the larger outer screen area for removing small impurities. This small change significantly improves cleaning performance of the machine.
The KDC PLUS range has two models, the 4000 with a capacity of up to 40 tonnes per hour and the 8000 with a capacity of up to 80 tonnes per hour. The machine cleans grain based on both particle size and aerodynamic properties. The hinged doors give good access to the drum for inspection and easily swapping of screens using the quick release system. Other notable features are the use of stainless steel in areas of high wear, all external components are manufactured from galvanised steel and a vacuum inside the drum reduces environmental dust.
All screenings are conveyed by the aspirator away from the machine and can be blown for up to 15m, they can then be collected in one location using a cyclone. There are further optional accessories, including spring loaded cleaning brushes, cleaning of the outer screens during operation and rain covers for motors and gearboxes. The Kongskilde KDC PLUS is a high spec machine that can deliver high output cleaning on a small footprint.

Why Dual Cleaners
The dual cleaner offers finer cleaning capabilities than a rotary drum cleaner. The compact size, high output and novel design ensure that the cleaner can perform whether pre-cleaning before storage or grading to meet contact specifications.
