The JCT Indent Cylinder splits products into two fractions, it may remove long or short impurities. Where removal of both is required two cylinders are used one after the other. When the product enters the rotating cylinder, grain sits in the indents. Where grain is a good fit to the indent is lifted until it falls into a central trough or else it falls back into the cylinder. Grains larger than the indents remain inside the cylinder and are carried to the outlet.
The JCT Indent Cylinder is designed for straightforward operation and maintenance. Geared motor drives offer low maintenance and adjustment the central trough used to manage the performance of the equipment. Adjustment for different products can be quickly made.
