The JHC Compact Dehuller is fed via the top inlet hopper which drops grain into a vertically mounted rotor. The rotor accelerates the grain into an impact disc made of abrasion resistant plastic. The hull of the grain is broken by the impact and the kernel is separated from the hull. There is a simple aspirator leg which removes some of the hulls and other light impurities however further separation processes are required depending on the specification required.
The JHC Compact Dehuller is designed for straightforward operation and maintenance. Easy to clean and maintain with few moving parts. The motor that drives the rotor must be controlled by an inverter to allow the rpm of the rotor to be changed to achieve maximum dehulling efficiency, the best results are achieved when grain is graded prior to dehulling so grains of uniform particle size are dehulled together.
- Gentle dehulling action
- Small footprint and compact arrangement
- Low power consumption
- Simple adjustment for dehulling intensity
- Straightforward operation and maintenance
- Outlet aspirator for separation of hulls and light impurities
Why Compact Dehullers
The compact dehuller is effective for a range of cereals including spelt, einkorn, emmer and oats. A simple machine that is a great for entry level use at light to moderate duties.
Why JK Machinery
